David Yvinec Well, the end of time might be near, but listening to that album feels close to paradise for me. One of my favorite albums by possibly my favorite rock band. So much groove, and so much headiness! This redux has made Last Patrol into a totally more exhilarating experience to me. Just listen to the Hammond organ on End of Time! A thrilling way for Monster Magnet to embrace psychedelia all over again!

about

Rock ‚n‘ Roll in its strongest propagation - loud & flashy Psychedelic Rock. Right at the raging psychedelic maze is frontman Dave Wyndorf. A dazzling figure of light and leading figure in personal union. On MILKING THE STARS: A RE-IMAGINING OF LAST PATROL listeners will rediscover inspirations indebted to mainly hallucinogenic chemicals. The two new songs cheered from the hip are going to blow out the neighborhood’s window frames! As the press once wrote so aptly: "Nobody knows where the hell this goddamned, infernal noise is coming from."
